"How do you delete
(individually or totally) the Web site addresses that accumulate in the address
window of Internet Explorer? Every time I type in a new location, that address
is added to the list."
Select Start, Settings, Control
Panel and double-click Internet. (Or, open an Internet Explorer window and
select View, Internet Options.) On the General tab, under History, click the
Clear History button, then click Yes to confirm. Doing so wipes out the
contents of your History folder AND the Address bar's dropdown list of URLs.
